Christians frequently focus on the weaknesses of their character. They can be preoccupied with their failures and lack of progress. A lack of victory is frustrating. But this was not the intent of the Savior for His followers.
We will turn to the letter of the apostle Paul to the Colossians and find in chapter 3 what Jesus intended the life of a Christian to look like. We will first consider the attractiveness of a Christian’s character and then turn to the kind of effort that is required to attain to it.
